Description: An early photograph of Nottingham Street looking towards the town centre. On the left is the Kings Head pub. Alongside is the recently-built Baptist Chapel which opened in 1873. The shop next-door – for many years Hollingshead Sports and Leather Goods – has had a new display window. On the other side of the road stands the old water pump.
